NRDC Smart Growth Interactive Microsite
The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) relied upon Northridge's creative and development talent to help showcase an ideal vision for the future with environmentally friendly "smart growth." The solution leverages Google Maps and Flash to showcase powerful images of cities in the future as landscapes change from abandoned paved lots to multi-use communities filled with trees, sustainable transportation, and happy shoppers.
Users can browse by map location, case study, and/or filter results by area and site characteristics and improvement type(s). The solution is easily grown through content additions via XML data stores.
