US Cable Company SharePoint Intranet

The business class division of this US Cable Company serves more than 280,000 business customers in 23 divisions and provides business communications tools to companies of all sizes. This client has partnered with Northridge for many years on a wide variety of SharePoint, Rich Internet Application (RIA), and Custom Application initiatives to support the sales and marketing organizations and initiatives.

For this particular initiative, the client required a new Sales & Marketing intranet site to communicate the latest marketing and technical information. The challenge of this project was creating an intranet solution that could be easily managed by non-technical users while providing advanced features such as Content Management, Document Management, Enterprise Search, and Collaboration. Northridge designed and developed a Microsoft SharePoint intranet solution that has dramatically improved the user experience and significantly improved group collaboration through workspaces.

Additionally, Northridge has continued to add enhancements and special components to the overall intranet solution including a Welcome Kit and an Achiever's Cup component that allows the sales organization to manage sales activity to determine top performers.
